It looks like the only date available to us for the room we want to use at Pechanga is Saturday, November 4th. We have selected that date, but it's not set in stone yet. I believe CreativeReunions needs to sign a contract with Pechanga first. So tentatively mark Nov 4th on your calendars! And of course I'll send out another message once it's "official".

Someone who lives in Temecula gave the advice that there are not alot of hotels around, so if people are planning to stay the night, you may want to start looking now because Temecula fills up fast! She suggested http://www.temecula411.com/ to get hotel and city information. The big hotels are Pechanga, Embassy Suites, and Holiday Inn. The others are just the basic Ramada, Hampton Inn, and Motel 6 places.

Once the date is locked in, we are going to see if we can get group rates at Pechanga. However, in case those rates are still too expensive, you may want to see what else is available. And, hey, you can always change your mind and cancel reservation so you're not locked in it turns out that the Pechanga rates are pretty good.

The girl who lives in Temecula also knows someone in Group Sales at Embassy Suites, so she is going to see if she can get us a deal once the date is confirmed. She also says that taxis can take you to and from the Pechanga Casino for about $15 (I believe each way). Embassy Suites is about 7 miles from Pechanga.

Since people were talking about getting together the next day to do something, a suggestion was brought up to tour the local wineries in Temecula. I've done that myself (although not through an official tour) and had a lot of fun. Wilson Creek Winery was my favorite. If you join their wine club, you can get free wine tasting for you and I believe up to 4 friends each time you go there plus discount on wine purchases. This probably goes for most of the other wineries too.
