I brought the friendly stray kitty to his new home in Tehachapi this evening. :)

I love that I'm helping animals find new families. I fear that I'm running out of resources though. There are only so many friends of friends available who want new pets, and I only got the one response on Freecyle (I posted it to 4 nearby cities). But so far I have been successful and it feels really good to know that Mike and I are helping control the cat population. We've spayed and neutered 7 ferral cats and released them back into the neighborhood, and we've neutered and found homes for two stray cats that were friendly and therefore adoptable. It's an awesome feeling. :)
