Hi again,
I know I've sent several emails about animals lately; however, this one is for a dog. So for those of you on my list who aren't that interested in cats, but may be interested in dogs (or are also interested in dogs), this is for you!
"Peanutty" is a 3 1/2 year old "recently" neuterred male Pom/Chi mix. He has his shots and rabbies tag. He weighted in at the Vets at 7.7 pounds, so he is little. He was given to the Rescue Mom by the Animal Control Officer. They didn't want to see him in the pound for so long. He was given up by his only owner "an elderly handicapped man" who couldn't care for him any longer.
Peanutty is at first shy, he has been through a lot of heart break as we are sure his original owner has been. Peanutty knows his name. He is housebroken. He only had one accident over these past two months as he and the Rescue Mom learned his schedule and habits. He is confined to the kitchen at night, he sleeps there on his lease. He goes outside potty early by 5AM when the Rescue Mom goes to work, and his last time out at night is 9PM.
He likes cats in the house, but chases those outside. If ignored too long in the yard he will try to find a way out to follow kids or other animals outside the fence. LOVES to be held, He LOVES car rides and LOVES going for walks, he likes to water bushes. This little sweetheart needs a loving home with older kids. The Rescue Mom doesn't want to see him passed around, so a serious long term home is a must.

Please contact the Rescue Mom for details at torpey.rescue47@juno.com or call 760-373-3396. Free will donation toward vet costs greatly appreciated.
I'm not that familiar or comfortable with dogs, but it's a small dog, so if someone in the Inland Empire is interested, I could probably transport him Friday night on the way to my mom's.
