All four kittens and Wooly have found homes! Wooly is already in his new loving home. The daughter and Wooly are inseparable. They play and play, and he cuddles with her, and she just loves him. Three of the kittens go to homes this weekend and the fourth the following weekend.
What a happy ending!
However, Teddy and Johnston still need homes: http://photoninja.net/gallery/v/animals-in-need/teddyandjohnston/

I'm including an update Mike wrote on the kittens last week since he has a better way with words than I do. I didn't bother sending it to the list at the time because it already looked like they were all going to find homes:

Subject: kittens for adoption in Mojave
We've got some kittens up for adoption. http://www.mikemassee.com/gallery/v/animals/stray_kittens_july_2009/
We've discovered that they are all female except one of the Tiger kittens. They are all socializing well, and can be held and pet and they purr like motorcycles. They love to play with each other and chase each other all over the room. We've split them up into two pairs to make it easier to socialize them.
So there's the long haired grey female, black haired female, tiger striped male and tiger striped female. The tiger striped male is very playful and active. The black haired female is very playful once out of her shell. The long grey haired female is shy but sweet, and also likes to play with her friends. The tiger striped female is taking a little longer to socialize but she is doing ok. (still hisses when you pick her up, but then purrs when you pet her, a few more days and she'll be fine)
I am attaching one pic of each. The all-black-nose tiger striped one is female, the male has a spotted nose.
They are about 8 weeks old, just about the best adoption age. They are fully weaned and eat wet and dry kitten food.
We're looking to adopt one or two out at a time. In a pair, they are extremely playful together. By themselves and they will probably adjust to other cats fine, as long as the other cats don't mind them. They will also make good solitary pets but would be happier with a brother or sister if the home is empty a lot during the day.
The cats are available to anyone who promises to spay or neuter them when they are of age, and give them a loving home where they will be comfortable and relaxed. We recommend that they be indoor-only cats.
Mom has been caught as well and spayed. She is now an official member of the spayed stray club out at Rebecca's backyard. She is a beautiful tiger striped cat with white tufted ears, these kittens have good lineage. Mom is probably an escaped or abandoned pet.
The average lifespan of a stray outdoors is only two years, so these kittens have a new lease on life. By trapping and socializing them, we have saved dozens more feral cats from being born from them.
Adopt a beautiful kitten today!
