I know that there are many of you who probably do not wish to receive emails about animals needing homes. It seems that there has been a lot of email traffic on that subject alone lately, so I've decided to separate my "Intersting Stuff" list into two lists "Animals in Need" and "Random Stuff". I did a similar separation about two years ago when I created the "Interesting Stuff" list:

By having several lists, you are given the option to continue receiving the messages you want and stop receiving the ones you don't. My current lists are as follows:

Animals in Need (this list)
This is a mailing list to advertise animals who need homes, and other related items.

Random Stuff
This is a list to share news about things I think are interesting (like SpaceShipOne related stuff) or things I think would be helpful (like job opportunities or finding items for people in need).

Rebecca Pease Updates
This is a mailing list for me to share what's going on in my life with family, friends, and acquaintances in order to keep in touch with everyone easily.

Las Vegas Visits, etc.
This is a list meant for those who currently live in Las Vegas, previously lived in Las Vegas, or are otherwise associated with Las Vegas. The primary purpose of this list is to let people know when I will be in Las Vegas for a visit. I keep people who previously lived in Las Vegas on the list in case they are visiting the same time I am.

PhotoNinja.net updates
Pretty self explanatory - I use it to notify people when I have updated my website (although not when I've updated my blog)

Currently, I have just copied over everyone who was on my "Interesting Stuff" list and subscribed them to my "Animals in Need" and "Random Stuff" lists. The "Rebecca Pease Updates", "Las Vegas Visits, etc.", and "PhotoNinja.net updates" have been around for a while, so you should know if you are already on them. Most of you are not subscribed to the "PhotoNinja.net updates" list, but feel free to change that if you like. :)
