To be more precise, Static gets to keep his home! I found Static a home, but when my friends went to tell their 5-year-old daughter, she took it REALLY hard. Cried for over an hour, and then again throughout the day. It was heartbreaking. So my friends talked to the landlord to see if there's anything they can do, like a security deposit or whatever. The landlord told them to write up an addendum to their contract. They are all very happy, including Static, who was being extra sweet because he could tell something was up.

On another note, I forgot to mention in my email about the kittens and black lab that they are located in Redlands. So it should be fairly easy to arrange something with the current owners if you live in the Inland Empire.
