Hi there,
My friend who rescues animals has some more kitties - two kittens and three "cattens" (no longer a kitten, but not quite a cat yet). If interested, please contact torpey.rescue47@juno.com. They are all currently located in Cal City, which is near where I live, so I am willing to drive them to their new homes. Basically anywhere in California (Southern or Bay Area) and possibly Vegas is within driving distance for me. We need to find good homes for these strays.
The two kittens were just caught 1 week ago, age 8 or 9 weeks. Both appear to be female. Been de-wormed. Semi-socialized, still need more attention. Can pet them and play toy games, but they really don't enjoy being held. They may need to be caged initially until they are more social. They need to be petted a lot more, and realize people won't hurt them. My friends leaves them in a crate all day listening to the TV. They are pretty! Look like a linx mix, big feet, very round European breed eyes. They will need to be taken to the vet for shots, and taken to be fixed at 5 to 6 months of age. Eating Purina kitten chow. Use their litter box. FREE. Need to find homes quickly! Pictures may be viewed here: http://photoninja.net/gallery/v/animals-in-need/kittens/
The first "catten" is actually the mommy cat. She is very beautiful and 10 to 11 months old (they aren't considered cats until they are a year old). She is short hair, soft stormy-gray with white legs. The Vet said she is the sweetest youth aged kitten he had ever seen, so loving and so gentle. She is very very sweet, and loves to be touched. She was just spayed, given rabies shots, and had her ears checked last Wednesday. She really needs to find a loving indoor home. We do a catch, spay and release program so her ear has been tipped in case she ever gets outside again. She will come with a Pet Record with her history. She still has stitches, but are the self heal type, no removal necessary. She is ready now, but shouldn't play too hardy until Sunday (10 to 14 days after surgery). Uses her litter box. Free. The other two "cattens" are about 5 months old. They were born March 10, 2009. They've had their rabies and annual 4 in 1 shots. They are neuterred, have had their ears flushed, and been de-wormed. Both are good kitties. Teddy is more of the cuddley Teddy Bear. Johnston is more independent, but loves petting. He loves to sit on lap when your on the computer, very sweet little boy. Truly a cuddler. We want them to go to homes in which they will be indoor-only kitties. They were rescued from outside. These kitties are so loveable and purr, and kneed with their paws. Whomever gets them won't even have to visit a Vet right away! My friend has Vet records on each and Kitty record card. As they are rescues, they'll probably hide for a few days, but if not forced will gently come out of their shells. Once they know you won't hurt them, they'll be as sweet as they are with my friend. Both use the litter box. Teddy Bear and Johnny are FREE to good homes. Pictures may
