Latest on Rescue Efforts:
Cinnamon and Licorice both went to a friend of mine in Lancaster who is a big cat lover and already has 4 cats of her own! She does have a big place and they will get lots of love. http://photoninja.net/gallery/v/animals-in-need/cinnamon-licorice/
I took the female terrier to her new home in Rancho Cucamonga yesterday - also to a friend of mine. The new owner had just retired and will be able to spoil the Terrier rotten. Her new name is Hope. They were a perfect match. http://photoninja.net/gallery/v/animals-in-need/mandy/
I didn't actually announce this black kitten to the group. It belongs to a friend of a friend, and I was able to find it a home with some of the overflow of people who expressed interest in previous cat posts. http://photoninja.net/gallery/v/animals-in-need/black-kitten/
As for Zoey, she is getting more and more wild. My friend tried to pick her up the other morning and she turned on her, tried to bite, not hard but enough to say, hey don't touch me no more. So she isn't going to be fit to go to any home. She's mixing back into the wild group she originally came from, and roams the neighborhood. But she has been fixed and had her ear tipped, so she has become one of the "outside ferrals", but this time at my friend's house instead in my back yard. ;) http://photoninja.net/gallery/v/animals-in-need/zoey/
Believe it or not, I actually have no more animals I need to find homes for! However, my rescue friend does have a Calico kitty she rescued that will be ready for a home soon. If you want info on her when she is available, let me know and I'll pass it on. Otherwise I will try my other channels first before sending an email to this list, to give you all a break. :)
