My friend recently got a new dog from the pound in November. He named him Bowser. Bowser is an energetic, playful, loving German Shepherd about 2 years old. My friend has two other dogs. One is lab mix, about the same size as Bowser and the two play all the time and have a ball. The other one is a smaller dog, and doesn't really like to play.

Unfortunately, there have been two incidents where the smaller dog was seriously injured and had to be taken to the emergency vet for surgery because Bowser plays rough and gets aggressive with small dogs who are dominant when left alone. He's a sweet dog with humans, but he needs to be with a family without small dogs. Big dogs are probably fine, because they can handle the play.

Bowser weighs about 70 pounds, neutered, up to date on shots, and has completed the basic training program at Petsmart.

Bowser is currently located in Lancaster. However, I am willing to help provide transport to just about anywhere in Southern California to bring Bowser to a loving home. He's a great dog. I love him myself and will miss him. Unfortunately, he just can't be in a home with small dogs.
